SES, a global satellite communications leader, has appointed Elisabeth (Lisa) Pataki as its new chief financial officer (CFO). After a transition period, Pataki will succeed Sandeep Jalan, who will step down.
Jalan, who has served as CFO, was praised by SES CEO Adel Al-Saleh for his contributions. “I would like to thank Sandeep for his steadfast leadership over the last five years, where he has driven continuous execution improvement and transformation while strengthening the company’s balance sheet with a competitive cost of capital and delivering healthy cash returns to shareholders,” Al-Saleh said.
Pataki brings over 20 years of financial leadership experience in the aerospace and defense sector, having held senior roles at Aerojet Rocketdyne, Comet Group, and RTX Corporation (formerly Raytheon Technologies). Her expertise includes successful mergers and acquisitions, finance integrations, and developing financial strategies focused on operational efficiency and profitable investments.
