Telesat, a leading global satellite operator, has appointed Donald Tremblay as its new chief financial officer, effective October 20, 2025. Tremblay succeeds Andrew Browne, who is retiring after serving as CFO since 2019, marking the end of a distinguished career in the satellite industry.

Tremblay brings over 35 years of industry experience, having previously served as CFO at Champion Iron for three years, as well as at Iron Ore Company of Canada and TransAlta. His extensive expertise in financial leadership and capital markets is expected to bolster Telesat’s strategic growth initiatives.
