Norbert Kongnyuy serves as the Finance Director at IHS Towers in Lusaka, Zambia, a position he has held since January 2020. With over a decade of service at IHS Towers, Kongnyuyt has demonstrated exceptional leadership in financial strategy and operational excellence. His current role involves overseeing financial planning, risk management, and compliance, ensuring sustainable growth for IHS Zambia. His strategic vision and analytical expertise have been pivotal in driving the company’s financial success in a dynamic telecommunications market.

Before his promotion to Finance Director, Kongnyuy served as Finance Manager at IHS Towers in Douala, Cameroon. During his seven-year tenure, he streamlined financial processes, optimized budgeting frameworks, and enhanced reporting systems, significantly improving operational efficiency. His ability to navigate complex financial landscapes laid a strong foundation for his current leadership role.

Kongnyuy’s career began in Cameroon, where he honed his expertise in finance and accounting across various industries. He worked as an HR/Payroll Analyst at SLB in Douala, where he managed payroll systems and ensured compliance with regulatory standards. Earlier, he served as a General Ledger Accountant at CAMAIR-CO , maintaining accurate financial records. At Nestlé Cameroun SA, Norbert held roles as Treasury Officer and Accountant , where he managed cash flow and financial reporting with precision. His early career included a brief stint as an Accounting Intern at Eneo Cameroon S.A. in 2008, where he developed foundational skills in financial operations.

In addition to his corporate achievements,Kongnyuy has a passion for education. He lectured at the Centre for Business and Accounting Training (CBAT) and the Centre for Professional Accountants (CPA) in Buea, Cameroon. Teaching ACCA courses on Management Accounting, Performance Management, and Preparing Financial Statements, he inspired approximately 20 students per session, preparing tutorials and revision classes to support their success in accounting and finance careers.
