Timothy Musiime is a distinguished financial leader with over 15 years of experience in strategic finance, business analysis, and operational leadership across East Africa’s banking, industrial, and professional services sectors.

As Chief Financial Officer at I&M Bank Uganda, Musiime drives financial strategy, ensuring robust fiscal management and sustainable growth for one of Uganda’s leading financial institutions.

Musiime ’s tenure at I&M Bank Uganda builds on his prior role as Head of Finance at Mercantile Credit Bank , where he strengthened financial operations and compliance frameworks over nearly three years. Before that, he served as Head of Finance at Mantrac Uganda Limited , overseeing financial strategy for a leading equipment supplier in Kampala for over five years, enhancing cost efficiency and profitability.

His banking expertise was further honed at Stanbic Bank Uganda, where, as Finance Manager for Personal and Business Banking, he managed financial planning and performance for key business segments in Kampala. Earlier, Musiime ’s four-year tenure at LafargeHolcim saw him excel in multiple roles, including Business Controller and Business Analyst at Hima Cement in Kampala, and Commercial Controller at Bamburi Cement in Nairobi. These roles sharpened his ability to drive financial discipline and support business expansion in competitive markets.

Musiime began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Kampala , rising from Associate to Senior Associate. His work at PwC laid a strong foundation in financial auditing, compliance, and advisory services, shaping his meticulous approach to financial management.
