Roberta Casali, Vice President for Finance and Risk Management at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), has been appointed Chair of the Global Risk and Finance Forum (GRaFF), a high-level coalition of the world’s leading Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs).

In this new role, Casali will lead the forum comprised of Chief Financial Officers and Chief Risk Officers from major MDBs. GRaFF’s mandate is to strengthen cooperation, enhance joint initiatives, and coordinate strategic efforts to optimize capital, reduce systemic risks, and stimulate financial innovation. The collective aim is to more effectively support member countries in advancing their development and sustainability goals.

“I am honoured to take on the chairmanship of GRaFF,” said Casali. “At a time of complex global challenges, enhanced collaboration among development banks is crucial. This forum is a vital platform to align our financial strategies, share best practices, and innovate together to maximize our impact.”
