Miovision has announced the appointment of Grant Hughes as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Hughes is an accomplished CFO with extensive financial leadership experience in private-equity backed high tech firms that – like Miovision – leverage data and AI to accelerate innovation in established sectors.
Most recently, Hughes served as CFO and Country Manager for Ataccama, a software company providing a unified, AI-powered platform that helps large organizations manage, clean, and govern their data for trustworthy business decisions.

Before Miovision, Hughes served as Chief Financial Officer and Country Manager at Ataccama, where he spearheaded financial planning, internal controls, and strategic growth initiatives in the data management sector.

His leadership at Ataccama built on his earlier role at PointClickCare , where he held dual positions as Vice President of Treasury, Tax & Investor Relations and Vice President of Corporate Development. At PointClickCare, Grant drove financial strategy, investor relations, and mergers and acquisitions, enhancing the company’s position in healthcare technology.
Grant’s earlier tenure as Chief Financial Officer at Lumenix saw him lead financial operations and strategic planning for an emerging tech firm. His expertise in private equity, mergers, and acquisitions was honed through senior roles at PI Financial Corp. as Managing Director and Head of Diversified Industries, and at Dundee Capital Markets as Managing Director of Investment Banking. Grant also served as Director of Investment Banking at TD Securities Inc. and Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at Jefferies Broadview , contributing to high-profile deals in Toronto and New York.
With a robust skill set in private equity, corporate finance, strategic planning, and financial reporting, Grant has consistently driven value creation across industries. His early career at Crosbie & Company and TD Securities laid a strong foundation in mergers and acquisitions.
