OneStream, the fast-growing leader in corporate performance management software, has announced a landmark strategic alliance with Microsoft that will embed its financially intelligent AI agents directly into the world’s most widely used productivity tools—Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
The partnership, described by both companies as a watershed moment for the Office of the CFO, brings OneStream’s SensibleAI™ platform—already built natively on Azure—deep into the Microsoft ecosystem, allowing finance teams to ask complex questions, run real-time forecasts, detect anomalies, and generate reports, and automate workflows using simple natural language, all without leaving the applications they already use every day.
Finance leaders will soon be able to summon OneStream’s AI agents inside Microsoft Copilot to perform deep financial and operational analysis on verified data, visualize trends, and receive instant insights. In Teams, users can search unstructured documents or query live financials and instantly see dashboards and explanations. In Excel, the same agents will supercharge spreadsheets with predictive analytics, intelligent forecasting, and automated anomaly detection.
“This is about turning the finance function into the true control tower of enterprise growth,” said Tom Shea, President and CEO of OneStream. “By placing financially intelligent AI directly into Teams and Excel, we’re putting actionable, governed insights into the exact moment and place where decisions are made.”

-Marketplace and Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC) agreements for frictionless procurement
The announcement comes on the heels of OneStream being named Microsoft’s Global Partner of the Year, underscoring the growing impact of the collaboration.
With CFOs under increasing pressure to deliver faster, more accurate insights in volatile markets, the OneStream-Microsoft alliance is positioned to redefine how artificial intelligence is deployed across global finance organizations, blending enterprise-grade governance with the accessibility and familiarity of Microsoft’s ubiquitous platform.
