DE-CIX, a global leader in Internet Exchange services, has appointed Felix Hintze as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective June 1, 2025, following the departure of Sebastian Seifert at the end of May.
The announcement comes as the company celebrates its 30th anniversary, reinforcing its commitment to sustained global expansion.
Hintze joins DE-CIX with a wealth of experience from the IONOS Group, where he served in key leadership roles, including CEO and CFO across its AdTech, server infrastructure, and aftermarket divisions.
His tenure as head of investment management for IONOS, overseeing mergers and acquisitions and equity strategy, equips him to steer DE-CIX’s financial strategy during a pivotal growth phase.
The DE-CIX management board remains steady, with Ivo Ivanov continuing as CEO and chair, alongside Christian Reuter as Chief Sales Officer and Thomas King as Chief Technical Officer. Felix Höger, chair of the supervisory board, expressed confidence in the reconstituted leadership team.
