Venk Nathamuni appointed as Jacobs’ New Chief Financial Officer

Jacobs has announced the appointment of Venk Nathamuni as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective June 3, 2024.

Venk Nathamuni has amassed over three decades of professional experience, specializing in executive-level finance and strategic leadership at Jacobs. During his career, he has spent 15 years in senior finance positions, providing him with a profound understanding of financial operations and strategy.

Nathamuni joins Jacobs after his role as CFO at Cirrus Logic, a semiconductor company valued at $6 billion. During his time there, he led strategic initiatives that significantly boosted the company’s financial growth and value for stakeholders. His career is also marked by other influential roles at J.P. Morgan, Synopsys, Synplicity, and QuickLogic.

Jacobs CEO Bob Pragada praised Venk Nathamuni for his combination of technical and financial expertise, highlighting his strategic vision and leadership skills. Pragada is confident that Nathamuni’s knowledge will be crucial for Jacobs as it navigates the changing infrastructure sector and works towards long-term growth and increasing shareholder value.

Nathamuni is set to oversee Jacobs’ financial operations, optimization efforts, capital allocation, and investor relations. He will also be integral in shaping the company’s financial and business strategies. Kevin Berryman, the interim CFO, will provide transitional support to Nathamuni and continue as Special Advisor to the CEO.

Expressing enthusiasm about his new role, Nathamuni highlighted Jacobs’ robust culture and his eagerness to drive financial excellence and operational efficiency.

Nathamuni studied finance and strategy at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he got his MBA. He also has advanced degrees in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and he did his undergraduate studies in Electronics and Communications Engineering at Madurai Kamaraj University in India.
