Forte Upstream Services Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Damilola Orireyemi as its new Finance Team Lead, reinforcing the company’s commitment to strengthening financial governance and driving operational excellence.
In a statement shared on its official LinkedIn page, the company expressed confidence in the new addition to its leadership team. “We are thrilled to announce that Mr. Damilola Orireyemi has joined the FUSL team as our Finance Team Lead. With his strong background and expertise, we are confident that he will play a pivotal role in supporting our growth, financial governance, and operational excellence,” the company said.
Orireyemi brings a solid foundation in accounting, financial operations, and team leadership across diverse sectors. Prior to joining Forte Upstream Services Limited, he served as an Accountant at FINCHGLOW Travels Limited, where he contributed to the company’s financial administration.
He earlier held the role of Finance Officer at Black Pelican Limited, overseeing day-to-day financial activities, budget development and monitoring, financial forecasting, and the preparation of key reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
In that capacity, he ensured compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards, collaborated with internal and external auditors, identified process improvements, assessed and mitigated financial risks, managed cash flow, and supervised payroll, PAYE, pension, and VAT schedules while fostering cross-departmental alignment on financial strategy.

His earlier experience includes serving as Accounting Operations Assistant at International Refreshments Company Ltd (PepsiCo), where he handled daily sales invoicing, customer account management, monthly reconciliations, rebates, and asset documentation on SAP systems. He also worked as an Invoicing Officer at Pioneer Foods, performing similar core accounting functions that strengthened his expertise in accurate financial processing and reconciliation.
Reflecting on his professional approach, Orireyemi described himself as driven by determination and teamwork. “I am a very determined, hard-working and friendly person. I love travelling, cooking and playing with my pets. My dream is to travel across the world. This has helped me to develop as an individual and also a better team player who thrives under pressure. As a result, I can bring new ideas and solutions that will benefit any company,” he stated.
