Earlier, as CFO at Nedbank Malawi, she shaped bank strategy with a finance lens, leading treasury functions, chairing the ALCO, and overseeing budgets, forecasts, and regulatory reporting. Her strategic planning and expenditure control across the branch network optimized balance sheet returns, cementing her influence.
Zulu ’s career began to flourish as Finance Manager at INDE Bank , where she managed the finance department and contributed to strategic committees. At Standard Bank, she served as custodian of the general ledger and financial reporting, excelling in audits and strategic planning. Her tenure at Opportunity International Canada honed her skills in budget production and stakeholder reporting, laying a strong foundation for her ascent.
