Oracle Corporation posted robust first-quarter results for fiscal year 2027, with Chief Financial Officer Hilary Maxson describing the performance as one of clear “acceleration” driven by exceptional demand for cloud infrastructure and artificial intelligence services.

Total revenues reached a record $19.3 billion, up 30% in both USD and constant currency. Cloud revenues climbed 62% to $11.6 billion, while Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS) revenue more than doubled, rising 121% to $7.4 billion. Cloud Applications (SaaS) revenue grew 10% to $4.2 billion. GAAP earnings per share increased 55% to $1.56, with non-GAAP EPS up 30% to $1.92.

Maxson highlighted the scale of customer demand for AI and cloud services, noting that it continues to outpace available supply. During the quarter, Oracle secured more than $30 billion in additional AI contracts without requiring further capital from the company.

Remaining Performance Obligations (RPO) rose by $209 billion year-over-year to $664 billion, providing substantial visibility into future growth.

“Oracle’s Q1 FY27 results can be summed up in one word: acceleration,” Maxson wrote on her official LinkedIn page. “We delivered strong total revenue growth, including 121% growth in cloud infrastructure revenue, and added 850MW of data center capacity during the quarter.”

She pointed to customer prepayments and bring-your-own-hardware arrangements as key factors enabling efficient scaling of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). These contracted commitments, she added, support a disciplined approach to infrastructure investment while strengthening the company’s financial position.

Record first-quarter operating cash flow further enhances Oracle’s capacity to pursue growth opportunities. Maxson expressed appreciation to customers, partners and teams worldwide for their continued trust and execution.
