Siima’s journey to the pinnacle of corporate finance is rooted in exceptional academic credentials and diverse professional experience. She holds an MBA from Amity University in India and a First-Class Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Makerere University Business School. A member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and a certified Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) from the Corporate Finance Institute, she combines technical mastery with strategic acumen.
Her professional trajectory reflects progressive responsibility across audit, regulation, and financial services. Beginning as an Assurance Auditor at Ernst & Young, where she honed skills in compliance and risk management, Siima later advanced through roles at FINCA Uganda as Financial Accountant and Management Accountant before her groundbreaking appointment as Head of Finance. At the Electricity Regulatory Authority, she excelled as Management Accountant and Senior Management Accountant, overseeing budgets exceeding UGX 40 billion, automating financial processes, and strengthening internal controls.

In her current role, Siima orchestrates comprehensive finance operations, from treasury management and budgeting to forecasting and strategic advisory. She provides critical insights to the CEO and executive team, fosters high-performing finance teams, secures funding, and shapes long-term strategies, including fintech integration and operational optimization. Her influence extends to branch expansion, cost discipline, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring financial resilience and alignment with FINCA’s mission.
