Agostini has appointed Bernadette Sammy as its new Group Chief Financial Officer, effective April 16, the company announced in a notice of material change. Sammy takes over from Nigel Campbell, who stepped down from the role on December 31.
Sammy joins Agostini with more than two decades of financial leadership experience across the distribution, manufacturing, and consumer goods sectors. Most recently, she served as Group Finance Director at Bermudez Group Limited, a position she has held since December 2022.
Before that, she held the role of Finance Director at Vemco and spent over eight years as Group Audit Executive at the ANSA McAL Group — one of the Caribbean’s largest and most diversified conglomerates, giving her deep exposure to governance, risk, and financial oversight at scale. Her earlier career included a CFO stint at Vemco, six years across multiple finance functions at Unilever in Trinidad and Tobago, and her professional formation as an Audit Senior and Supervisor at PwC.

Agostini described Sammy as a senior finance executive with broad expertise across corporate finance, financial reporting, risk management, taxation, governance, and strategic planning at both the operating company and group levels.
She holds the Fellowship of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), is a Certified Internal Controls Risk Analyst (CICRA), and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago (ICATT). Her appointment positions Agostini with a Group CFO whose career has been built at the highest levels of Caribbean corporate finance
