Yas CFO highlights diversified financing for sustainable infrastructure

Nicolas Sylvestre-Boncheval, Chief Financial Officer of Yas, has highlighted the strength of the company’s diversified financing model as a key driver of sustainable infrastructure expansion across its eleven markets.

Speaking as part of the ongoing “Inside Yas – Voices Shaping Tomorrow” series, Sylvestre-Boncheval explained how the organisation approaches the financing of infrastructure growth while carefully managing associated risks.

“Our experience has demonstrated the strength of a diversified financing model,” he said. “By combining commercial bank financing, international capital markets, and Development Finance Institutions, Yas has the flexibility to fund infrastructure, manage risk effectively, and drive sustainable growth across our eleven markets.”

The approach, he noted, allows Yas to draw on multiple sources of capital, reducing concentration risk and ensuring that critical infrastructure projects remain well-supported even in dynamic market conditions.
