Absa Bank Kenya has officially reopened its newly refurbished branch in Kisumu City, marking a significant step in enhancing financial services for individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region.
The branch was relaunched during a week-long customer engagement initiative, attended by Absa’s executive leadership team, covering Kisumu, Kisii, Mbale, Malaba, Webuye, and Kakamega.
The revamped Kisumu branch, designed to prioritize customer convenience, serves as a central hub for personal and SME banking, digital services, and financial advisory. The modernized facility underscores Absa’s commitment to integrating its physical presence with robust mobile and internet banking platforms, catering to the evolving needs of its clients.
Speaking at the customer engagement event, Absa Bank Kenya’s Ag. Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer , Moses Muthui, emphasized Kisumu’s role as a vital economic hub in East Africa.
